Dale & Justin with Oliver North

After 35 years of pastoral ministry, Dale recently and positively responded to God’s leadership re-directing his ministry to the United Kingdom.

At 56-years old, with a history of heart disease, Great Britain seemingly not a priority when it comes to mission fields and money becoming more difficult to raise; coupled with the high cost of living in places like Europe, many of Dale's close friends have questioned the sanity of such a move.

"Yes, each of those things is true, but …" Dale says,

  • I’ll grow older one day at a time no matter which side of the pond I’m on!
  • My heart history will remain the same and I’ll still have to trust God for my next breath regardless of my residency!
  • If no one else is interested in the United Kingdom, that becomes a greater motivation for me to go there!
  • And, if money is that hard to raise, then by all means, I should get started right away, don’t you think? Will you help?

Ministry for Dale began officially in Washington Township, Michigan, and has taken him to each of the fifty states and twenty-nine foreign countries. God has been unbelievably good to this country boy from the hills of eastern Tennessee. Like Dr. B.R. Lakin used to say, “God’s been so good to me, sometimes I feel like I’m His pet!”

For the first six years of ministry, Dale served in youth and music for Reverend Arthur Kidd and Dr. Tom Malone, Sr. In 1978, he took youth and music ministry to a global level, becoming the missions pastor for Dr. Jerry Falwell in Lynchburg, Virginia. When he left Thomas Road he became the senior pastor for Broadway Baptist Church in Paducah, Kentucky, and then a decade later he accepted the call to pastor the First Baptist Church of Davisburg, Michigan.

For the last six years, Dale has conducted an itinerant ministry of conferences, seminars, youth camps called – “A SALUTE TO AMERICA!” and “WHY EVANGELIZE YOUR WORLD?” This a full multi-media presentation designed to focus attention on patriotism and evangelism.

Now, in what may indeed be the last leg of the race in Dale's life, he is following God’s leading to the United Kingdom, and allowing God to make the rest of his life the best of his life, while remaining faithful to the call to "Go into all the world..."
